"You're shouting out what, now? Isn't this a music blog?"

I know, I know. It sounds silly. And if you haven't heard it, you're probably wondering what (no longer) on earth I'm talking about. But it really isn't as crazy as it sounds. Or maybe it is.

I noticed this name on the Wakarusa Music Festival lineup — pretty close to the top of the bill — as I was deciding which artists to try to interview at the festival. It caught my eye, so I looked into it.

Well, the name, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (or T.E.E.D.), belongs to Orlando Higginbottom (also a mouthful), a 28-year-old English producer and DJ. His music style is extremely original — think highly danceable, expertly blended tracks with undeniable energy, then think a little harder.

Though he's already gained a devoted following, T.E.E.D. only released his first studio album in June 2012 (although he's put out several EPs and various remixes), so if his popularity is any sign of his skill, he's definitely one to keep an eye on.
