Celebrate Earth Day with a SweetWater at 420 Fest

SweetWater 420 Fest Flyer

Next weekend, April 18-20, Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Ga., will host SweetWater Brewing Company's 420 Fest, a festival that plans to have a positive impact on the way people affect the earth.

This event has a lot to offer (and won't hurt your budget), with prices ranging from $10 for a single day ticket to $135 for a 3-day VIP pass. The 10 year anniversary lineup is the best yet, with appearances by Sublime with Rome, Galactic, EOTO, Conspirator, Two Fresh, Paul Basic, Supervision, and many others.

Additional activities include a 5K race, comedy tent, kidzone, and a charity cornhole challenge. The artist village will feature merchandise crafted by 50 different vendors, with an emphasis on sustainable, eco-friendly designs.

And, of course, you will be able to sample delicious beers at The SweetWater Experience tent, where over 25 SweetWater brews will be available to taste while you enjoy presentations on topics ranging from home brewing, to pairing, to the status of the craft beer scene in the South. Head over to the website to submit your question to the craft beer experts.

Get your grub on in the Mellow Mushroom lounge, or stop by the food court for some tasty fare. You'll want to keep some food in you while you go about emptying your glass.

Make sure to keep it green by walking, carpooling, or using the MARTA transportation system to get to the park. Ride your bike and take advantage of the free bike valet, provided by Kanga. More details on getting to the park and other frequently asked questions can be found at the 420 Fest website.
